Lower Povazie the region, which received its name because of the Vah River. Region lies in the west of Slovakia in temperate to warm climate.

The region attracts visitors because of its beautiful scenery Danube plain, Danube Plain to which the section extends Interesting Routes from the north, the Little Carpathians in the west and the White Carpathians in the north. Attracts hikers visit the protected area of Trnava ponds, an important type of wetland and aquatic habitats.
