Accommodation Donovaly

Donovaly are located in the Banska Bystrica region near the center of Slovakia and belongs to the center of winter and summer sports. The village is situated between mountains Velka Fatra and Starohorské Hills and is located in a protected zone NAPANT near the National Park Great Fatra.

For tourism favorite people in the village are two ski resorts Záhradište and New Hola, which is located 11 km of downhill ski slopes, 25 km cross-country trails, chairlifts, ski lifts and there are many other possibilities for recreation and hiking to issues such as the marked trails in the area. During the summer, tourists can take a hike to the highest peak Elected or Nova Hola, which results in a cable car. The village kept besides hiking trails to the top of Elected and other hiking trails which include, for example, on the way back Goat Starohorské in the mountains or on the main ridge of the Low Tatras. After the hike, visitors can relax in the wellness center, where recharge your energy.

The attractions of the village are particularly dog sledding, which are held here since 1992, hang-gliding on the southeastern slopes of the New Hole or cycling in the bike park. During the summer and the winter village also offers many other attractions which include, for example, visit Dobšinského Hababuky fairytale world where there are fabulous houses in which they live fiction tales. Interestingly Donovaly is a bobsled, which is particularly popular among people with adventurous nature.

The history of favoritism in the village are Donovalská chapel, the oldest chapel of the Holy Anne to Bulloch dates from 1886. Also interesting visit to the birthplace of John Donovala or statues lobster dog Dina built in the village.

In Donovaloch visitors can stay all year round in the center of the village. There are a number of comfortable apartments, where visitors can stay in two-, four- and six people. Stay in Donovaloch sweetens its visitors summer and winter season.
