The cottage is located right in the forest, in the TANAP nadm. of 950m. It is about 2 renovated buildings, which can also be hired out as a separate cottage with a capacity of 12 + 22 persons. By car from Bratislava: From Bratislava direction, you have to leave the D1 highway, passed by Liptovsky Mikulas town in village Vazec and continue on the main road E50 (18) direction Poprad. Approx. 150 m before you enter the village Tatranska Strba, you have to turn left on the small bitumen road (not lane road) - there are some indications in the turning point as a picture of bear head and indication board to Pension Kula (it is not our pension). You go on through this secundary road app.700m, there you will see side indicator to the train-funicular on the right and Pension Tatra board on container shelter on the left, next to newly reconstructed white house with brown roof - so you have arrived = turn left and park your car. By Airplane The closest airport is Poprad, 19km. Danube wings (www.danubewings.sk) provides low cost flights from Poprad to London, Manchester, Dublin, Basel, Brussels, Warsaw). The closest international airport is Krakow (170 km, road connection-we can organize), Budapest (288 km by road, train connection through Kosice), Bratislava (306 km, direct trains) and Vienna (377km, direct trains). Another low cost operator in the area is www.ryanair.com. By Train Train connection to our pension is ideal: The closest railway station is Štrba, that links Tatranska Strba village directly with Bratislava in 4 hours (fast train every 2 hours), with Kosice in 1.5 hours (fast train every 2 hours), with Vienna in 5 hours (1 direct train a day), with Prague in 7 hours (3 direct trains a day). From Budapest, you can take a train through Kosice. The railway station Strba is only 20 min.of walking from our houses. We can pick you up in the railway station.

Surrounding:

In winter the area maintained cross-country trails, in the summer, surrounding of the pension is ideal for hikers (cog railway stop is only 8 min.by foot from us) and bikers - routes for beginners as well as demanding cyclists, but also for families with children (fireplace and meadow).

Room description:

Recently completely reconstructed, pension offers 32 beds in 15 double/twin rooms (in some rooms, we can provide 3rd bed) in two houses one next to the other. Each room has its own bathroom with shower (no bathtubs).
