Hriňová the picturesque central Slovak town, which is located in Banská Bystrica Region in Detva region Podpoľanie. City has 12649 ha and 7612 inhabitants. Noteworthy is not only a beautiful environment and numerous opportunities for sport, but especially beautiful cultural monuments. The city is situated between the mountains and maple Polana, which offers visitors many hiking and biking trails. Most interesting are the routes Hriňová - Malčekova rock - Blato - Krivec and back Hriňová, another trail leads from the waterfall through Hriňovej Bystrého stream and chat on the field or easier of them run across Kosutka and Jaseňovo. There is a monument commemorating the Slovak National Uprising memorial to the fallen in World War 2, bunkers and trenches as well as folk and original log houses. The greatest pride is the Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, built in 1926. The city is also Calvary, which consists of fourteen stations.
