Liptovský Trnovec Central Slovakia is a beautiful village stretching out in Utah within the district. The village is located in the Liptov region, it has 2745 ha and 557 inhabitants. Attracts its visitors an enchanting scenery and beautiful cultural monuments. Liptovský Mikuláš lies in the middle of Liptov fold and extends to the southern slopes of the Western Tatras. It is surrounded by the north of the Hrádok Hill (689 m. N. M.), From the east hill Krochva (655 m. N. M.) And from the west Hájiky (613 m. N. M.). Altitude municipal area is 588 m. n. m. Beautiful scenery offers visitors many opportunities for sport. There are interesting hiking trails in the surrounding mountains, biking trails or interesting caves. The biggest attractions of the village is a campsite on the northern bank of Liptovská Mara. Every year there are organized many sporting events as output the gray top, a trip to Terianku or football tournament. The village will enchant visitors and interesting cultural events. Examples include firefly March Fly Tying, performances Choir and Children's Day performances by local amateur and puppet theater. The greatest pride of the village is the Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Holy Spirit. The church was built between 1810 - 1820 in classical style. Part of the exterior of the church's bell tower from the second half of the 19th century. Evangelical church dates from 1925. Another cultural landmark is the lamprey row house from the 18th century, which is bifurcated. The village is also famous archaeological site called Konislava in which they found mounds Lusatian culture. The findings come from the late Bronze Age and Hallstatt period. Relax and visitors can swim at the local beach area close to the bank of Mary, where we offer rent jet skis and boats.
