As the guest house is located in the city center, there is very good transport links. You can walk to the train or bus station in less than 30 minutes. There is also a public transport stop less than 5 minutes from the pension. If you want, it is possible to order a taxi service.

Pension Al Corso is located in the nearby of the historic center of Banska Bystrica. Visitors to the city can see the dominants of the SNP square, such as the Clock Tower, the Marian Column or the Stone Fountain. The medieval gems of the castle grounds include the Barbacan, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Matthew's House and the Praetoria Building. On the Banská Bystrica river is the Cathedral of St. František Xaverský, the Town Hall Building, the Thurz House, the Benický House, or the Bishop's Palace. Among the monuments hidden in the adjacent streets are mainly the Villa of Dominika Skutecký, the SNP Memorial, the County House, the Church of St. Elizabeth, or Bethlen's house. In the city center, visitors are also offered a wide range of dining options or sitting on the terrace. The natural monuments of the city include the Calvary mountain Uprín. At present, it is an area consisting of a historic alley with stops (Stations of the Cross), a top church and a new monastery. It also offers visitors the possibility of hiking. The Vartovka Observatory is very well known, where it is possible to take individual or group excursions. The surroundings of Banská Bystrica also offer various possibilities for visiting monuments. Zvolen is known for its castle and also for the ruins of the castle complex called Pustý hrad. Sliač has long been known for its healing springs. Cyclists and skaters can use the family path connecting Sliač with Zvolen. The most frequently visited village is Špania dolina. Visitors are attracted here mainly by historical monuments such as the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord from 1254, Klopačka and the Chapel of the Holy Sepulcher. The village also has typical mining houses from the 19th century. Dolný Harmanec is again a starting point for visiting the Harmanec Cave. Not far from the village, in the Rakytovo valley, there is a unique wooden gutter from the 19th century, which was used for rafting wood.

Kováčová is famous for its natural wealth in the form of healing thermal water. Holidaypark Kováčová is a water park open all year round. Donovaly is a popular destination all year round. In winter thanks to the PARK SNOW Donovaly ski resort and in summer thanks to the FUN arena. Children can visit the fairytale village of Habakuky. In the village Hronsek there is a rare historical monument - a wooden articular evangelical church with a wooden bell tower. Today, Kalište is a national cultural monument and a memorial place of the SNP. Badín is known for the Badín Forest National Nature Reserve with a waterfall 3 meters high. The villages of Králiky, Kordíky and Selce are well-known ski resorts. Staré Hory is known as a Catholic pilgrimage site. They are also often visited for hiking.
