Batizovce are magical villages which lies directly under the High Tatras in Popradskej Basin. With the number of inhabitants in 2228, the community extends to 1,434 hectares of the territory of the district Poprad. Only 2 km away from the village is the city of Poprad, and due to that, you can find more forms of leisure activities, whether strolling in the beautiful nature, or exploring historic sites.  The village is based MKS Local cultural center that organizes and prepares societal cultural events and sports events, which take place during the year quite a bit. Earlier this year held here Fašianga celebrations, especially the excellent fašiangovým escorted during which the lads I go in with krojoch strašiakom. During the year, held here in various contests veľkonočných decorating eggs, and competition for the best ríbezľové wine.  If you are interested in historical monuments of the village, is certainly something to look forward. Dominating the village are two churches. Catholic church of neskororománskeho period, originating from the mid 13th century, which was later in 1767 in the Baroque style. Is present in an 14th-century bell, which is the oldest on the file. The second church is evangelical and dates from 1791. The two other attraction in the village are kaštieľ and mansion from the 16th century and later mansion from the 18th century, which was produced from part of the former convent of the century.  Since the village is situated near the High Tatras in the area there are numerous tourist sites desirability of the free day. The village lies National Nature Reserve Mraznica that harbors rare species of plant vegetation. As part of the tourist attractions are eager to choose a hiking trail Baba, the city Poprad to Poprad, or near Strbske Pleso, 17 km away.  When you visit the villages you can stay in the apartments, privátoch, cottages and penziónoch, which will offer accommodation at a high level.
